Whether you are a beginner or advanced artist this class will take you from start to finish on how to draw and paint a beautiful rose using water soluble oils. This will be a great opportunity to learn how to draw using the grid method. If you are dying to try oils this is your chance to experiment with them. Water soluble oils dry faster and are easy to clean up using water. They blend beautifully and provide vibrant colors in your work. These techniques can be used as a foundation to paint any type of image if you would like to experiment with on your own after completing the class! We will cover how to choose an image to paint, how to lay out and draw using the grid method to get those perfect proportions. We will build layers to create depth in our paintings, and learn how to use line and values to create the final touches.
